Nissan Juke or Infiniti ESQ?

China is no stranger to knock-offs and weird re-branding so imagine my surprise when I saw this "Nissan Juke" the other day:

My first thought was that someone had bought a Nissan added some aftermarket "enhancements". Turns out I was wrong: this really is an Infiniti!

I thought the Juke's unconventional look fit a Nissan butit feels out of place when badged as an Infiniti. I feel like a Michelin Star restaurant has tried to get away with serving gold-flecked Big Macs to an unaware market.

Perhaps I'm reading it wrong. Maybe prestige lies in the badge, regardless of the product itself.
